Current Plan (March 2026)
As of January 17, I am currently in a severe, 24/7 bedbound crash which started after GI issues from an adverse reaction to microdosed tirzepatide.
Due to repeated issues with PEM and few other symptoms, I think it is time to admit that I do not have “Long COVID” and rather have ME which was caused by COVID. This leaves me with the uncomfortable truth that I suffer from an uncurable condition, but I will continue to fight.
Goal: get out of bed.
Interventions:
Low dose Abilify - 0.15mg/day starting March 12, seems to be raising my baseline, phone and laptop tolerance has increased, feeling less physical “weight”
Fixing my gut microbiome - Biomesight analysis revealed near-zero Bifidobacterium (0.028%) and critically low Akkermansia (0.067%), elevated H2S producers, and Proteobacteria bloom.
Started Seed DS-01 (currently titrating from 1 to 2 capsules), Pendulum Metabolic Daily, GOS prebiotic, Zinc Carnosine (mucosal barrier repair/leaky gut support), Hydroxocobalamin B12 (neutralizes H2S systemically), and 2-week Bismuth subsalicylate course (suppresses H2S-producing bacteria).
Testing
I’ve had a unique episodic pattern that is different from typical Long COVID:
